

A camping wilderness only a short trip from Atlanta... with 12
primitive campsites, several wilderness campsites along the hiking
trails, 2 activity/campfire areas, large pavilions... and the
incomparable beauty of seeing the sun rise and set over Lake Allatoona.
Here you've found a quiet and peaceful place to conduct almost
all of your weekend Scouting activities.

Note: Registration for either camping or aquatics programs should
be received four weeks (preferably) but no less than two weeks
in advance of the scheduled weekend to permit notification of
our volunteer staff.

For camping the usual forms apply. Submit both a Local Tour Permit
and Unit Camping Request. Printable copies of these forms
as well as camp maps and camping policies are available on the
Atlanta Area Council website under the "Camping" link.

Upon check-in at the camp you should also submit a completed
roster of all persons that will be present over the weekend. Click

prior to arriving at camp
