WELCOME to Camp Allatoona Aquatics Base!  We're a lake front adventure and training area run by a dedicated group of volunteers for the growth and enjoyment of youth.

2010 Program Schedule Now Available

Our base is the only one in the United States that offers expert training in ALL the aquatics Merit Badge skills plus training for the aquatics High Adventure Camps!  We are also a wonderful development facility for adult leadership in aquatics skills and more.

Programs
Home Just for Fun Certification (Merit Badge) Advanced Resources Blue Card

We offer three types of programs at the base:

canoeing training class

Be present at the pavilion not later than 8:00am on Saturday morning unless you received specific instructions to the contrary from the instructor for your class!

  • Scouts are required to pass the standard BSA swim test for swimmer the morning of the class in order to participate.

  • Make sure to bring a Merit Badge blue card signed by your Unit leader and your Merit Badge book.

Important Note:  Units must provide at least two registered adult leaders, or one leader and a parent of a participant, in accordance with BSA policy when youth members are at the base.  Youth registering and attending individually must be supervised by at least one parent.  Unit leaders should have medical information and parental authorization forms in the event emergency medical treatment is necessary.
