This is a weekend class that provides good preparation for future canoe trips. Mark your calendar to attend all day Saturday, and Sunday until noon. (Both days are required.)

Class size: Minimum 4, maximum 12

What to Bring:

Swimming attire and towel
Shoes that can get wet
Signed merit badge application (blue card)
Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sun block)
Lunch & water bottle
Current medical form

Prerequisites:

Scouts are required to pass the standard BSA swim test for swimmer the morning of the class in order to participate.
Make sure to bring a Merit Badge blue card signed by your Unit leader and your Merit Badge book.
First Class rank strongly recommended
